Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a support funded by the NDIS that helps you live as independently as possible while receiving help with everyday tasks. It’s designed for people with higher support needs who require assistance at home, either part-time or 24/7.
At Apex Community Carers we provide SIL in safe, comfortable, and welcoming homes, with support tailored to your unique needs and goals.
What We Offer
Our SIL services are designed to help you live life on your own terms. We support you with:
24/7 support from experienced and caring staff
Daily personal care, including showering, dressing, and hygiene
Meal planning and preparation
Medication reminders and administration
Support with household tasks like cleaning and laundry
Transport to appointments or community activities
Help building life skills and achieving your personal goals
We work closely with you, your family, and support network to ensure your living arrangement is a good fit emotionally, socially, and physically.
